Doctors

Dr Johnny Vere-Hodge – Partner
BSc, MBBS London 2004 Imperial, MRCGP

Johnny-Vere-120x120After completing his hospital training in London and Portsmouth, Johnny joined the Liphook surgery as a GP registrar in 2008, after which he immediately became a full time partner with the practice in 2009.
Johnny takes a special interest in paediatrics, care of the elderly and cancer care.
In the last couple of years Johnny has completed several charity events including running the London marathon on behalf of Age UK. He has also completed a non-stop 24 hour, 100km trek along the South Downs Way in aid of Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.

Dr Thomas Price – Partner

BSc, MBBS London 1996 St. Mary’s, DFFP, MRCP, MRCGP, DGM

Tom-Price-120x120Tom is a full time partner with a particular interest in neurological orders and cardiology in the elderly and has achieved a Diploma in Geriatric Medicine.
As a qualified GP trainer, Tom helps to guide GP speciality registrars through their paces. Within the practice Tom is the clinical lead for heart disease and plays a key part in overseeing the practice budget.
Tom likes to spend his spare time road biking, cooking and swimming and is kept on his toes by three boisterous boys.

Dr Suzy J. Holden – Senior Partner
MBBS London 1989 St. Mary’s, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP

Suzy-Holden-120x120Suzy joined the practice originally as a registrar in 1995 and then became a partner in 1998
Following the retirement of Dr Barbara Rushton in 2019, Suzy has now taken on the role of Senior Partner for the surgery.
Alongside Tom Price, Suzy is a qualified GP trainer and now mentors the next generation of GP’s. She is also the lead GP for the Dispensary within the surgery.
She is married to a local GP and her spare time is spent looking after her family of four beautiful girls.

Dr Sian Taylor – Partner
MBChB, DA, DRCOG, MRCGP

Sian-taylor-120x120Sian has had wide ranging clinical experience which has included working as a GP in Australia, a Clinical Medical Officer in family planning and being the medic on an Operation Raleigh expedition in Namibia.
Her registrar training back in 1998 was carried out at our Liss surgery and she then continued to work as a locum for the practice for some time afterwards.
Following a 10 year break to raise her 3 children Sian returned to being a GP in 2010 and in 2012 we welcomed her back to the practice as a part time partner.
Sian has the crucial role of prescribing lead within the practice which ensures we are using the NHS budget responsibly.
Sian is married to a consultant anaesthetist and keeps herself fit by running, cycling and sailing with her family.
Dr Anna Lalonde – Partner
MBBS, MRCGP, BSc, DCH

Anna-Lalonde-120x120Dr Anna Lalonde is one of our part-time partners who joined the practice in 2012. She qualified at Imperial College, London and has worked as a GP both in London and locally.
During a three year stay in South Africa, Anna worked in clinical research and managed a paediatric oncology study. Anna has a particular interest in paediatrics, research and minor surgery.
Besides enjoying her work in General Practice, Anna is a keen skier, enjoys running and is kept busy with her young family.

Dr Caroline Phillipson – Partner
MBBS, MRCGP, DFFP

Caroline-Phillips-120x120Caroline joined the surgery after moving from Bristol to Hampshire in 2011 and became a partner on the 1st of April 2015.
Having worked previously in a wide variety of practices across the country, Caroline brings a wealth of experience to the team and takes a special interest in family planning and sexual health.
Between 2009 and 2010 Caroline lived in Australia and it was there that she gained a postgraduate qualification in dermatology from the University of Queensland.
She is the GP Safeguarding Lead within the practice.
Caroline is with married to an ENT consultant and has 2 young boys. When time allows she likes to take the opportunity to explore the local countryside with her family and go running.
Dr Catherine Forshaw – Partner
BSc, MBBS, MRCGP

catherine-forshawHaving completed her training at another local surgery Catherine joined the practice as a part time partner in August 2015.
Catherine is keen to enhance her skills in all areas of General Practice and, in particular, women and children’s health.
A keen runner and enthusiastic baker, Catherine has three young children and is married to a local GP.


Dr Natalie Higham – Partner

BSc, MBBS, MRCGP

natalie-highamNatalie has recently become a part time partner following a year working as a salaried GP at the practice. She has lived in the area for some time and qualified after working at two other local practices. Natalie has a particularly interest in paediatrics, women’s health and research.
She is married to a local GP and spends a lot of her spare time running around after her two boys.
