Dispensing services are available at both of our surgeries between the hours of 8:30 am  and 6:30 pm. However, current regulations stipulate that we are only able to dispense to those patients who live one mile or more from the nearest chemist (as the crow flies)

If you qualify against this criteria and would like your medications dispensed by us there is a simple agreement form that can be downloaded directly by clicking on the link below. Once completed please post the form to the surgery or hand it in to our reception team.

If you have any queries regarding our dispensing services or need some advice about the medication prescribed for you please contact our Dispensing Supervisor, Tanya Chainey on 01428 724768.

Prescription Charges

Unless you are exempt from charges, all prescriptions dispensed by the Practice carry a standard charge that must be paid when the prescription is collected.

If you are on multiple repeat medications it is probably worthwhile acquiring a pre-payment certificate which will greatly reduce your prescription charges. Please enquire at our dispensary for details or click on the link below to download an application form:

If you are under 18 years of age, unemployed or on certain benefits then you will not have to pay for your prescription. Ensure that you fill out the reverse of the prescription form correctly and sign it, and have some proof that you are exempt from prescription charges with you when you collect your medication from the dispensary.
